ARISE is currently undergoing a new evidence-based evaluation. This study is an 18-month program that began in September of 2008 to measure the effectiveness of ARISE Staff Training and Life-Skills lessons on the staff and youth of Thompson Academy. This preliminary success excerpt submitted by Kristin Parsons Winokur, Ph.D. of the Justice Research Center shows some brief statistics on how well the program is currently operating. Upon the completion of this research study, ARISE will make the full results publicly available.
